You are sitting at your town’s Fall Festival parade enjoying the honor guard, marching band, and local civic organization floats, and your 5 year old (who has now been to both Disney World and Disney Land) leans over and asks, “When will it be characters we know?” To which I have to tell her, “Well… Mommy actually does know many of these characters.” I don’t think she was impressed.
However, we did get FREE candy at this parade and a soda for a dollar unlike the $3.00 soda and $3.00 Mickey on a Stick we have to buy at a Disney Parade!
In other parade related news, Cody is hoping to be a Shriner. With his love of hats and motorized vehicles, he is sure to be an asset to the group. It was even more perfect that one of the cars had a personalized “Code Man” license plate. Sadly, I was not quick enough with the camera to catch it!
