Nugget Bowl–Yes, I Said Nugget Bowl

 

Our K-State Pride was shining (with NO EXCESSIVE CELEBRATING) during the Pinstripe Bowl – see all the little Wildcats below!

But I am guessing that you all did not know about a lesser bowl game that occurred earlier in the week – the Magnusson/Scott/Barrett Nugget Bowl.  Yes, I said nugget bowl.  Only in my family would the patriarch and his son go foraging for 204 chicken McNuggets and assorted sauces.

 

It all started with a comment about who would order the McDonalds 50 piece chicken McNuggets.  Jacob said that he was for sure he could eat 50.  To which Sam sensed a challenge and the idea for the Nugget Bowl was born.

When it was all said and done….

Sam had sense enough to stop eating before he was sick, but long after he realized McNuggets have no taste.

 

Andy and Jacob tied with 62 nuggets each.  Notice, Andy does not look as enthusiastic as he once did.

Karaline ate all 4 nuggets in her happy meal.

Cody hopes the challenge will be repeated next year when he has more teeth.
